How to do a 24 hour fast one time a week for optimum health

Fasting Once a WeekI have found the best and easiest way to fast is to begin at 11 A.M. in the morning.

Eat your big meal at that time and be sure to eat some starch such as potato, sweet potato or corn. Eat until you are comfortably full. In the evening drink about 1 mug hot vegetable broth to curb your appetite. Drink 8 glasses of distilled water through out the day and retire early in the evening. The next morning drink something hot, such as coffee, tea or hot lemon, honey and water. This starts your digestive system moving and your elimination is successful. Mid morning you may drink either organic green veggie juice smoothie, or fruit smoothie.

Do your 24 hour fast on a day you can rest and have no outside activities. Be sure not to watch TV, have visitors or attend any functions. Read a good health book.
